Spurs Under 21 side will face off against Manchester United tonight to battle it out for the inaugural U21 Premier League title at around 7PM tonight, hoping to become the first winners of the new youth format. Old Trafford will be the destination for the Spurs youngsters, as they aim to finish a sensational season for them in style.

Having topped both group stages that Spurs have been involved in, the Lilywhites should go in to tonight’s game as slight favourites but will have to be wary of a dangerous United side that has won two of the four previous meetings between the two sides this season, drawing one, us winning the other. Whilst Tottenham left it late to beat Everton 3-2 in the semi-final, United’s victory over Liverpool was carried out with barely a sweat, as they ran out comfortable 3-0 victors.

Spurs should be buoyed by the support they received at White Hart Lane last week from the 1882 movement but will be without such vocal support tonight and will have to draw on the previous support to pull them through.

Ezekiel Fryers is likely to feature against his former side tonight and will want to impress whilst three players will have their eye on the tournaments golden boot. Ryan Mason, Jonathan Obika and Cristian Ceballos all have eight goals to their respective names in the tournament so far, current joint top scorers in the tournament. Having scored the winner against Everton, Obika will certainly be flying high.

The side have already scored a phenomenal 80 goals in the tournament over the course of 27 games and will hope to transfer that firepower to the pitch come kick off tonight.
